AMS1 Switch Software Upgrade
Scheduled Maintenance Report for Equinix Metal
Completed
The AMS1 switch upgrade is unsuccessful due to a switch failure we encounter during the scheduled maintenance. Customers in the affected single rack might experience loss of connectivity earlier today but this has been fixed and should be up now.

We will have to reschedule the maintenance to improve the performance and stability of our network.

Scheduled
On Friday, March 1st at 23:00 UTC*, Packet will perform upgrades to a pair of switches in our AMS1 (Amsterdam, Netherlands) datacenter to improve the performance and stability of our network.

During the maintenance a switch reboot will be required, resulting in a short loss of connectivity to server instances in the affected racks. This may occur several times over the course of the 2-hour maintenance window.

As this event will impact only a single rack, customers with impacted server instances will receive an individual notice that includes a specific list of any affected servers.

Please feel free to reach out to us at support@packet.com with any questions.
