Update
The migration is running a little long and as a result, we are choosing to extend the window by 5 hours. The migration is broken up into 6 phases, here is a rundown of where each stands:

Phase 1, Systems went down at 0716 UTC and are coming back online at 1445 UTC.
Phase 2, Systems went down at 1135 UTC and are coming back online at 1445 UTC.
Phase 3, Systems went down at 1212 UTC and are expected to come back online at 1540 UTC.
Phase 4, Systems are going down at 1445 UTC, and are expected to come back online around 1740 UTC.
Phase 5, Systems are expected to go down around 1540 UTC and come back online around 1840 UTC.
Phase 6, Systems are expected to go down around 1640 UTC and come back online around 1940UTC.

While this does push out the overall window we have reduced the estimated downtime per instance from 8hr to closer to 3hr. We are sorry for the inconvenience, please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Scheduled
On Thursday, August 22nd 2019 @ 0700 UTC we will be migrating AMS1 t1.small.x86 and x1.small.x86 Infrastructure to a new availability zone within the same datacenter. This is being done to improve the performance and reliability of your server infrastructure.

We estimate that the maintenance will take up to 8 hours.

If you are impacted by this migration, the owner of your Packet organization will have been notified directly via email, including a specific list of affected servers.

Please reach out to me at support@packet.com with any questions and we can work through any issues or concerns you may have.

Thank you,
